Coriander

Caraway

Our caraway thrives in the tranquil Lippische Bergland in North Rhine-Westphalia. Soil and climate are ideal for him, his seeds develop a high oil content and are very aromatic.

Majoram

Our marjoram comes from the herb-growing village Schwebheim in Lower Franconia with its light sandy soils, thanks to the winegrowing climate and light sandy locations very aromatic.

Thyme

The thyme smells, a cicada jumps over the small bushes and chirps, and right in the middle of it stands Christian Hennings, a satisfied organic farmer. He grows the thyme for the organic gourmet spices.

Flor de Sal

The salt works of Fuencaliente are the origin of our snow-white Flor de Sal. They are also a family-run business located in the UNESCO biosphere reserve of La Palma. The Canary island – also known as "The Beautiful One" - is situated within the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean, at the level of the Sahara desert.

Juniper berry

Our juniper berries come from a certified organic region in the southwest of Bosnia, where collecting wild herbs has a long tradition. The juniper berries are harvested sustainably.

Tonka bean

Harvested wild by indigenous peoples in the Amazon, then dried in small drying houses, the core removed and dried further until the wrinkly surface is formed.

Argan oil

We obtain our hand-pressed and award-winning argan oil from a project that cooperates fairly and sustainably with the women's cooperatives in the cultivation region in Morocco.

Violet Blossoms

Our violets are collected in Bosnia, where there are still large areas of almost untouched nature. In certain areas the certified wild collection of delicate flowers is permitted.

Rosmary

Company owner Otto Greither discovered a good climate for herb cultivation in Chile. Salus Chile houses around 120 different perennials and shrubs on an experimental and cultivation garden.

Cultivation of medicinal herbs in Chile

The company Herbaria obtains many high-quality raw materials from its own organic cultivation in Chile, a farm in a volcanic region, which is owned by the owner Otto Greither.

Dill

Herbarias Dillspitzen come from the herb farm Funke in Middle Franconia, a traditional herb cultivation area, whose fine-crumb soil is made for the cultivation of garden dill.

Paprika

The gradually ripening fruits of the Szeged paprika are harvested successively in four to six hand pickings. As this is very labour intensive, only fully ripened fruit is harvested.
