|Salt and pepper in the mill|
Our Sicilian rock salt has matured for over 100 million years under a mountain, protected from environmental influences, and is extracted in harmony with nature. The "white gold" is mined carefully, without the use of explosives, by local miners. The cradle of pepper can be found in the monsoon forests of India, but now it is cultivated in various parts of the world. Black peppercorns from the Indian Malabar coast, from Sri Lanka and Tanzania combine their characteristic taste notes in our elegant and well-balanced pepper blend "Trio Noir". Pink pepper, while not a the true pepper, comes from the Brazilian pepper tree, which grows all over South America. Its taste is fairly sweet, aromatic and spicy in flavour and only lightly hot.
